Uelzena: Your specialist for powder-based solutions for the health food business
Uelzena is the partner when it comes to develop, manufacture and pack private label health food for end consumers such as slimming products, sports nutrition or other specific nutritional diets. In this segment we realise a large multitude of products for our customer, with the required specifications and active substances.
The combination of experienced specialists, state of art technical facilities, a systematic quality management system, multiple packaging options, as well as professional project realization, guarantee you a broad range of solutions. Our packaging possibilities are small packaging like stick-packs, sachets, display boxes or plastic bottles with screw caps as well as bulk packaging like sacks or Big-Bags.
In this segment we have more than 20 years of experience in development of recipes and production.

Vitafoods 2010 Uelzena presents a range of ready developed and produced sport and diet products for special sport shops, drugstores or industries.
The product range includes weight gainer, protein 80 and 90 for muscle build-up, isotonic sport drink powder as well as dietary drinks for weight reduction. The products are available in different flavours like vanilla, chocolate, strawberry or latte macchiato.
Also Uelzena affords contract processing of high value raw materials or nutritional compounds. Among our particular strengths we count the conversion of complex performance requirements, project support consultation by our experts, as well as a dependable quality control and monitoring of your products.
IFS standard, ISO 9001-2000 standard, GMP for pharmaceutical active ingredients (ICH Q7), kosher and halal certification as well as licences for the manufacture of organic products and balanced diets in accordance with § 14a are evidence of Uelzenas high production standards.

Fraunhofer Institute in Freising verified concentrated
ß-V chocolate- and cocoa butter powder from Uelzena.
Using a specific process, Uelzena has now developed SEED 100 and SEED 200, two innovative products for the chocolate processing industries. The application was tested at the Fraunhofer Institute IVV, Freising, Germany, and the performance confirmed.
